Articles with private label rights, or PLR articles, are an inexpensive way to get content for your website. This content is mainly used as filler and offers little in driving traffic to your website. Nowadays, search engines are looking for original, high-quality content if they are to boost your website's ranking in search results.



The information in PLR articles is not unique. They are articles that can be purchased by anyone. These cost less than original, full rights articles because the quality is lower. Authors of PLR articles can put a limit on how many times each of their PLR articles will be sold. So, articles that have 20 licenses for sale would cost more than articles with 50 licenses for sale.

Using PLR As Web Content: I still remember the good old days. I can easily grab some articles from EzineArticles.com or any PLR articles and publish them on my blog. With enough backlinks, I can always get them to the top.

Sure, if you buy content, you can save money by buying PLR articles. However, will they give the results that you are looking for? Value comes from things you pay for that will be useful to you, making it a good investment. Cheap items that provide little in a return are not a good value, no matter how cheap they are. This applies to anything that you purchase in life, including articles.

After all, consumers are now becoming smarter. What used to fool them will no longer work today. You can still create products with PLR articles. However, you need to put in more effort to rework some of the PLR articles, adding some of your own views and insight.
