Selling With Google Ads Or Selling Products On Amazon - Which Is Best?

By David John

Do you have a digital product that you would like to sell on the Web? Perhaps you have some experience with creating websites, and you also know how to drive traffic to your offers using Google Adwords. If this is the case, then you might want to consider another alternative which is listing your products on Amazon.com. In this article, we will look at the benefits and drawbacks to listing a product on Amazon opposed to creating a website that sells the products that you have for sale.

Amazon Traffic Versus Google Traffic

The most positive aspect of using Google Adwords to sell your products is because you can tap into the exact audience that you want to sell to by targeting specific keywords. This will send targeted traffic to your website where you can potentially make a sale. The only problem with this form of advertising is that the product sales page needs to convey an extreme amount of trust. They must want to purchase what you have to sell based upon the way you present it, or else each click that you are paying for may not lead to very many sales.

Using Amazon To Sell Products

Although you do not have the power to send virtually limitless amounts of traffic to your product using Amazon, it has a built in search engine and millions of users worldwide that may be looking for exactly what you have for sale. The credibility of Amazon will also motivate people to buy from you, and since most people on Amazon are buyers, this will increase the probability of making a sale. Hopefully this information will motivate you to try to sell your products on Amazon and increase your revenue for your business this year.

With Amazon people will find that they are going to be listing their products directly onto a selling platform. This means people will end up getting the benefit of already selling with a trusted brand name. However, people need to realize that Amazon is going to charge a fee for the products when they have sold. However, with the brand name of Amazon, the chance of getting more sales is higher than trying to convince people to buy from a stand alone store.
