By Kamil Hamad

When Facebook became a publicly traded company in on May 18, 2012, in addition to their huge infusion of operating capital, they also acquired enormous pressure to begin making money. This requirement of their investors made Facebook focus on how to increase their revenue, and that led them to improve their already decent advertising platform.

I ran up a $1.000 dollars in less than thirty days. My wife was not very happy at the time. I would suggest some Adwords training first. "You could kill two birds with one stone." Another words work both Google and Facebook at the same time. Keep the results and see what works for you. Can Facebook Out-Do Google In Terms Of Targeted Traffic?

Many marketing friends of mine use both and they all receive different results from their marketing. Some of my marketing friends prefer Facebook. The other half like Google Adwords. Both Facebook & Google are number one in the PPC type of advertising. PPC stands for Pay Per Click, for those new people who might be ready this article.

Whatever you plan to promote online, you just cannot get away from the two Giants of Advertising. Facebook & Google is what I call the Giants of Advertising. For example: Facebook will let you create a fan page or business page and they do not charge you. I have my own fan pages and I like using them a lot. Google on the other hand, will let you create the Google+plus page at no cost to you. I have a few of them also. Both Facebook and Google are good places to "Brand Yourself" or "Your Product" the choice is yours.

Can Facebook Out-Do Google In Terms Of Targeted Traffic? These venues are both excellent places to promote your business. You have the choice to do both or just one. I like to use my Facebook page more than anything else. Here is some things to ponder...1. What will be the purpose of using these two social networks? 2. What will you be promoting? (Branding yourself or Your product) 3. Who do you want to target? Facebook vs Google Challenge. Facebook will allow you to have options to target specific audiences. Another words certain specific Fans...Such As Fans For~ * Arrested Development. * College Alumni Groups.* Maybe you have a one of a kind message for a specific group of people.

Probably a major difference between using Facebook or Google for your advertising in using either one to promote our product or idea is the purpose that you have in mind for the final result. The difference in purpose would revolve around the choice of selling a specific product or are you wishing to promote the brand awareness of a product or idea. The sessions with Facebook last much longer than a Google search session, which would make the building of a brand awareness more logical for the use of Facebook. However Google has a better CPC performance matrix and wildly differing ad formats that Facebook does not have, making Google the better choice for selling a specific product.
