Creating information takes time, money, and effort and such documents should be stored properly and safeguarded. However, storing information may be threatened by aspects such as loss of the data. This is it is advisable that when you lose data, you refrain from activities which could lead to overwriting of the space. Actions like browsing, downloading information, or saving documents may lead to overwriting of files with new information.

The access to the directory information or file allocation is destroyed to allow the system mark the space where the documents were initially stored as unused. This means that new files can be written over that space. However, if overwriting happens, then the lost files may not be recovered. This is why it recommended that when you discover you have lost files and documents, you stop using the computer to avoid overwriting the space.

In this case, any information that had not been saved but only created, and a shutdown of the computer occurred, it could be unrecoverable.
