To say that this matters would be an understatement, especially when smartphones and the like are so prevalent. They are used for many reasons, so it's not far-fetched to think that they could play into marketing measures as well. In fact, there are many reasons why these particular companies should be focused on the most mobile of methods.

Mobile marketing is important for several reasons, one of the most prevalent being the usage of apps. For example, someone might spent ample time shopping for video game merchandise, ranging from home consoles to even t-shirts with characters printed on them. Ads featuring such media would probably be seen across smartphones, which seems like a given. However, the eventual impact it can have will be nothing short of useful.
