MLM Binary Compensation Plans

By Robert David Strong

You have done your required groundwork and are virtually ready to make the leap and kick off your own internet marketing business. Then you heard the words "MLM binary" and, while you nodded like you understand precisely what meant - you actually have no clue.

You are not the only one. Network marketing compensation plans look like they were written by maths PhD's and appear to be surprisingly complicated. Though on the surface they may look difficult, but if you sit down with somebody who knows about them they are easy to figure out.

Here is what a Binary Plan is

As everyone knows binary means 2. So you just have to think of everything in pairs. One of the first things that you're going to have to do when you start building your new business is to recruit 2 new people who also want to enjoy the financial freedom of MLM promoting.

After you sign these 2 folks up they're going to be what is called your front line. Because you are working in a binary program you can only induct 2 people and those two folks can only hire 2 folks each. That is it. No more than two.

So now you have recruited two others into your front line, let's call them Dick and Jane. If they follow the plan Dick and Jane can then go out and sponsor 2 more folks and so it goes on, and everybody gets rich and achieves their goals. Unfortunately Dick and Jane won't be especially effective at MLM marketing and this occurs a lot .

The next step will be to sign up more folk, but because you can only have 2 folk on your front line, the following 2 sign ups have to either go under Dick or Jane or one can go under each. It's your decision to keep the legs balanced.

What is Binary Spillover?

So now your new recruits are under Mary or Jane ( or both ), implying that Mary and Jane got what's called binary spillover or up line spillover. In effect you have aided Mary and Jane in building the 1st leg of their business based on your inducting efforts. One of the largest benefits of the MLM binary plan is if you have folks above you, i.e, an active upline, they can really assist you in building your part of the business.

The thing with an MLM binary system is that you have got to continue to signup folks and put them on the opposite side of your business so the two legs of the binary system balance because most plans will only pay you a commission if the business volumes actually balance. So you might enjoy some very big spillover, but you'll only get paid when you begin to add new folks to your business.

So that's the question you actually should be asking. Not is a mlm binary perfect for you but , rather, How will you go about marketing your new business? What, specifically, is your plan to promote your products, services and opportunity?

Will you use a proven online lead generation system or explode your profits using attraction selling methods? Do you have a marketing budget?

Have you thought about leadership, because your downline will look to you as a leader and coach to help them achieve accomplishment in their own enterprises? These questions are crucial and must be addressed, because really it is not the compensation plan that is so significant it is how you approach your business. You have got to know before you start what you're going to do to build your business.

The honesty and enthusiasm of the modern market have contributed to making marketing one of the most important, if not the most important business functions. Today, all companies invest significant marketing resources in order to get closer to their customers and differentiate themselves from the competition.

Efficient marketing is the key to success in the market because marketing mistakes are expensive today. Choose the wrong strategy, an insufficient market communication channel, or an incomprehensible promotional message in your campaign - and you will feel it on your sales. Repeat this many times - and you will question the survival of your company.
