Every individual have different fantasies when it comes to planning their travels. There are surely different places that they want to go into once they have the chance to. Others want to be do relaxing events while some prefer to experience the thrill. Those who go after adventures are always reminded to be cautious. Adventure is often accompanied by danger and the thrill of being near it.

Camping and hiking in unknown grounds can bring more thrill than what you expect. But you have to still be safe no matter what activities you choose to do. And to do this, you will be needing a few survival gear with you. There are essentials that you must pack because they might come handy when you are faced with certain risky situations.

You must not forget to pack the things that are listed below. To make sure that they do not occupy that much space, try to go for the smaller variants. This is to guarantee that even if you do not go with your group you can still be safe. And if there is imminent danger, you can still protect yourself without the help of others.

Knives and ropes is the pair that you do not want to forget. Ropes are for tying just about everything. Tie it in a nice knot to avoid getting it tangles and consuming much space. According to expert campers, you should bring your primary knife and your secondary one so that you will have spare. The perfect option for the back up knife is one that could be folded and easy to hide.

Of course food and water are essentials. Bring something that is easy to cook and would not spoil. And if you can, try to squeeze a budget for the days you will be away. Water on the other hand really needs to be stocked up. There is no guarantee that you will find clean water around the camping area unlike food.

If you decided that you will be going camping, a tent is essential. There is a reason why tents can be folded these days. This is so that you do not have to worry about carrying it around. It would not be so much of a burden and you can open it up when you need it.

You should also not forget about your first aid kit. You might be injured along the way or you might suddenly feel sick so you need to bring the necessary medications. And for the first aid kit to still be effective, the container must not get wet with water and it should be durable enough so that the things inside would not get damaged.

If you are the type of person who likes to wander off without someone to help you, you have to make sure that you bring signaling devices with you. Through this, you can signal someone if you are in need of assistance. And if you are in danger, it would be easy for you to call them.

One of the ways to survive in the wild is to make sure that you are warm. And because it is always cold out at night, you need to be positive that you are bringing warmer clothes. And you will be needing something that you can use to start fire with.
