The typical mouthwash used in nearly all households has repeatedly been proven by dental health experts to be unfriendly to the normal composition of our mouths, causing significant damage to our gums and drying out the saliva produced that is necessary for digestion of the food we ingest every day. It could also be posing a threat to our cardiac health. However, that does not mean that you should fail to use a mouth wash, simply that you need to put more scrutiny on the types of all natural mouthwash you buy.

This part should be clean always because apart from using it when eating, its also the part that connects us to the world through communicating verbally. Hence, there is always the need to put effort and make sure that it is free of bacteria which could bring about infections or bad odor. Unlike the use of inorganic washing methods, organic methods have several benefits.

They do not contain any alcohol supplements. Using products that have this component causes irritation to the lining of this cavity. Alcohol could also be a source of aching and pain to the gums and the teeth. Organic methods do not cause this and are gentle on the parts of the mouth.

Bad breath is something unpleasant and many of the products bought to fight the bad breath do not always work and are at times very expensive consequently, people prefer making a good product that is easy and fast to make. Cinnamon and clove oil are ingredients known to fight bad breath as they freshen the breath and also fight cavities instantly. They are both mixed in equal amounts and are known to have long shelf life thus hardly expires.

The neem tree yields a prodigious natural wash. Fluoride is a chemical that is found in most of inorganic products. It is responsible for bad breath, causing discoloration and spots of different colors on the teeth. It is advisable to use organic substances that contain very little or no amounts of this chemical.

For the people who are DIY fans a homemade solution is pocket friendly and the ingredients are readily accessible. All you need is a combination of distilled water and baking soda, if possible put in a little sea salt. The combination may not be the most pleasant for your taste buds but just as effective as anything you will buy from a pharmacy or store. Be wary of adding essential oils however, because they might sound important, but they destroy your mouths normal flora which is detrimental to your overall health.

In a nut shell, the hygiene of all body parts should be given equal attention despite their size. Most of the people in the world today are suffering from diseases and sicknesses that occur in their oral cavities. This includes tooth cavity and decay, which could in turn cause agony to the victims. It is, therefore important to use products that could prevent occurrence of such health conditions and natural mouthwash is the way to go.
