For years people have been trying to find super hero dolls which came dressed in cloth costumes. Fortunately these items can easily be found over the internet. Someone who loves Stan Lee will try to purchase all of his great characters from the past and present. Mr. Lee is a smart man who knew how to create great role models.
Years ago it was very unlikely that comic books would feature a female with great strength and power. Everyone knew about the DC creation named Wonder Woman but they had never heard about the "Invisible Girl." A toy group called Mego was brave enough to produce a doll which looked exactly like the Invisible Girl.
Unfortunately Mego was the only company who could advertise her doll correctly. Other toy industries fail to capture her unique beauty and personality. These same companies enjoy using the same face for all of their female dolls since they do not like to create new head sculpts. The popular company named Mattel simply took a Barbie doll and dressed her in a Fantastic Four costume.
Many people are now enjoying the new "Avengers" movies which are playing at local theaters. These fans do not know that many years ago Mego also produced a doll which resembled "Iron Man." He was dressed in his usual red outfit and his mask was molded to his face.
The true fans had always wanted to own an Iron Man doll which also showed his alter ego Tony Stark. Fortunately Toy Biz was able to grant their wish by making a Tony doll with an additional face. The newer doll is really not that great and has many issues.
"Mr. Fantastic" has to be one of the best looking male statues which Mego made during their best times. This is one character who is married to the wonderful Invisible Girl. Within the comic books these two characters share an infant son and they reside in New York City. People who collect these figures enjoy displaying the two characters together at all times.
